Renowned designer Kris Lin draws inspiration from the natural element of flowing water to create "Flow", a sales and exhibition space that stands out with its unique properties and design realization technology. The design, which is located in the southern section of Tianfu Avenue in Chengdu, features a light cube art installation at the entrance that attracts visitors and encourages interaction.

The interior of the space is a testament to Lin's innovative approach. The curved wall, resembling the ripples produced by flowing water, creates a dynamic visual experience. This fluid spatial form is achieved using Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum (GRG), a new material with strong plasticity. The use of GRG allows for the creation of the interior facade modeling, demonstrating Lin's commitment to utilizing cutting-edge technology in his designs.

The design is divided into two floors, with the reception and display area on the first floor, and the sand table model display area, conversation area, and construction method display area on the second floor.

The project, which started in August 2019 and finished in October 2020, was a challenge for Lin and his team. The biggest hurdle was combining the state of water flow with the form of space. However, with innovative thinking and the use of new materials, they were able to overcome this challenge and create a design that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

"Flow" has been recognized for its design excellence, winning the Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021.
